Milestones and records to watch in NFL week 11

NFL Research highlights several players poised to make history in Week 11 of the 2025 season. Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams of the Rams lead the list with touchdown milestones, while others like Myles Garrett and Jahmyr Gibbs chase sack and scoring records. CeeDee Lamb and Brock Bowers also eye reception marks in their matchup.

As Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season approaches, several players are on the cusp of significant milestones, according to NFL Research analyst Samuel Reno.

Matthew Stafford, in his 17th NFL season, has thrown a league-leading 25 touchdown passes with just two interceptions, helping the Rams achieve a 7-2 record tied for first in the NFC West. He is one of only six quarterbacks to reach 25 touchdowns and fewer than five interceptions through nine games, joining Aaron Rodgers in his 2020, 2014, and 2011 MVP seasons, Patrick Mahomes in 2020, and Tom Brady in 2007. Stafford has thrown four touchdowns in each of his last three games, and four more against the Seahawks would make him the third player ever to achieve that in four consecutive games, following Peyton Manning's five in 2004 and Dan Marino's four in 1984.

Davante Adams has caught nine of Stafford's touchdowns, one short of 10 for the seventh time in his career. Reaching double digits would place him alongside Hall of Famers Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Marvin Harrison, and Terrell Owens, who each had seven such seasons. Adams, with five such seasons for the Packers, one for the Raiders, and now with the Rams, sits at 999 career receptions entering his 174th game. One catch against the Seahawks would make him the third-fastest to 1,000 receptions, behind Keenan Allen and Andre Johnson.

Myles Garrett leads the NFL with 11.0 sacks in 2025, tied with Brian Burns, and holds 113.5 career sacks, the most before age 30. He and Lawrence Taylor are the only players with 12 or more sacks in five straight seasons; one more would extend that to six. A sack in Week 11 would also give him seven career seasons of 12-plus sacks, joining Reggie White, Kevin Greene, Bruce Smith, and Leslie O'Neal.

Jahmyr Gibbs scored three touchdowns against the Commanders last week, reaching 41 career touchdowns before turning 24 on March 20, 2026. He is the fifth player to hit 40-plus in that span. Gibbs can tie Jim Brown's 42 with one score, Emmitt Smith's 43 with two, or Randy Moss' 44 with three, chasing Barry Sanders' record of 47.

In Monday Night Football action, CeeDee Lamb's 531 career receptions rank third-most in a player's first six seasons and tie Dez Bryant for third in Cowboys history. One more catch moves him solo third, behind Jason Witten and Michael Irvin. Brock Bowers has 144 career receptions, including the rookie record of 112 last year. Three catches would surpass Sam LaPorta's 146 for most by a tight end in two seasons.
