Ministry launches Culture Funds 2027 with redesign to rotate projects

The Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage today presented the Culture Funds 2027 with changes to better distribute public resources and promote alternation in selected projects.

The contest maintains differentiated openings by funds and lines. Today the application for Becas Chile Crea began, which runs until September 10.

Minister Francisco Undurraga explained that the redesign is part of the Transparent Culture Plan. “It is not just about how much is invested, but how it is better distributed,” he said. The focus is on quality projects with greater reach and impact.

New features include lines such as Creative Neighborhoods in National Fondart and Young Talent in the Performing Arts Fund. Quotas are added for content aimed at girls, boys and adolescents, as well as vertical formats in audiovisual.

The opening calendar continues with the Book Fund on July 28 and ends with National Fondart on August 6.
