Mora signs defenseman August Skiöld on tryout

Mora has added 23-year-old defenseman August Skiöld on a tryout. The player will train and compete with the team throughout August before any decision on a longer stay.

The 198-centimeter, 108-kilogram left-shooting back joins from Väsby. Last season he recorded four goals and eight points in 32 Hockeyettan games.

Mora head coach Oscar Dahlgren highlighted the addition. “August is a big and physical defenseman with interesting qualities,” Dahlgren said. “We look forward to seeing him in our environment during August and getting to know him both as a player and a person.”

Skiöld has previously played for Strömsbro, Segeltorp and Huddinge in Hockeyettan. He also appeared in one HockeyAllsvenskan game with Almtuna during the 2022/2023 season.
