Former W Series driver Naomi Schiff has warned that Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff will not tolerate drivers placing personal ambitions ahead of the team in the 2026 Formula 1 season.
Schiff discussed the situation on the Up To Speed podcast. She noted that Wolff learned lessons from the 2016 Hamilton-Rosberg rivalry and has already sent a clear message that no driver is bigger than the team. Schiff added that Wolff is likely to correct any selfish behavior quickly and described him as someone drivers would not want to cross.
