Netflix has revealed the first poster for its live-action anime remake The One Piece, confirming a February 2027 premiere for the seven-episode first season adapting the East Blue saga from Eiichiro Oda's manga. The streamer also shared concept art from Windmill Village.
Building on last month's initial announcement, Netflix has detailed its upcoming anime series The One Piece, a fresh adaptation of the original One Piece manga starting with the East Blue saga. The first season will premiere in February 2027 and consist of seven episodes with a roughly 300-minute runtime, covering approximately the first 50 chapters up to Monkey D. Luffy's encounter with Sanji at the floating restaurant Baratie.
Netflix unveiled the first official poster alongside concept art depicting a pivotal early scene at PARTYS BAR in Windmill Village. The artwork features young Luffy interacting with Red-Hair Pirates captain Shanks, first mate Benn Beckman, and bar owner Makino. Shanks smiles warmly at Luffy's energetic spirit, while Makino's expression and the cozy bar setting underscore the pirates' surprising kindness despite their fearsome reputation. Netflix called it 'a snapshot of the moment where Luffy's great adventure begins.'
