New Balance is preparing to launch a playful version of its 530 sneaker featuring polka dots and softer details. The update transforms the techy dad shoe while keeping its signature chunky silhouette and Y2K runner style. It will become available on the brand’s website on July 29.
The 530 model has long been known for its layered mesh upper and performance-inspired design rooted in early-2000s running aesthetics. This latest iteration adds soft tones and a pattern of polka dots to create a more lighthearted appearance.
The changes aim to give the sneaker additional character without altering its core comfort and structure. Officials at New Balance have not released further details on pricing or additional color options.
The Polka Dot 530 will be available on New Balance’s website July 29.
