The low-top silhouette emphasizes movement with wavy overlays across the upper and sculpted pod-like shapes around the toe and midfoot. A prominent midfoot “N” logo adds iconic branding, while “Maxey” lettering and a V1 tab on the tongue personalize the debut model. The sharp black and light blue color-blocking highlights its bold aesthetic. Underneath, the shoe incorporates New Balance’s FuelCell cushioning for responsive performance suited to Maxey’s quick attacks and rapid direction changes. It also prioritizes dynamic traction and lockdown ankle support, essential for a guard’s explosive play. The Maxey V1 is set to release later this year at a price of $130.
