New crime series filmed in Borlänge

SVT visited the filming of the series Riksmord which is ongoing in Borlänge and surrounding areas. The series is produced by SkyShowtime and features several well-known actors.

Filming of the new crime series Riksmord has been ongoing for several weeks in Borlänge and surrounding areas. SVT was allowed to follow behind the scenes during the shoot in Tuna-Hästberg which took place under great secrecy. The series follows a traveling elite force that solves cases inspired by real events. In addition to Borlänge, filming has taken place in Skåne and Norrbotten. Among the actors are Alexander Abdallah, Jonas Karlsson, Pernilla August and Nina Zanjani. One of the roles is the investigation leader Åsa Ståhl from Dalarna played by Cissi Forss. Film i Dalarna is one of the co-producers and local extras have participated in the filming. Forss commented on her participation by saying it is fun to use her old dialect for the character.
