Nike has released a new Air Force 1 model featuring dense tangerine fleece in place of traditional leather. The sneaker draws inspiration from a horse of a different color theme and includes shaggy fur across multiple sections.
The "Horse of a Different Color" edition uses pony hair that covers the Swoosh logo, toe box, and tongue. A butterscotch outsole supports the midsole beneath the fleece upper.
Nike has previously experimented with textured materials on its classic shoes. This version stands out for its thick, scorched fleece finish.
The design extends the brand's ongoing focus on material innovation for the Air Force 1 line.
