Rasta Vechta heated up from three-point range with a 14-0 run to take a 25:20 lead (11th minute). After halftime, Chemnitz ramped up defensive intensity to regain control, leading 71:61 at the start of the fourth quarter. Vechta answered with a 12-0 spurt to 73:71 (35th minute).
