Nintendo held a Direct presentation on June 9, 2026, revealing dozens of upcoming titles for the Switch and Switch 2. The show highlighted release dates for several games and included a surprise remake announcement.
The presentation opened with Rhythm Heaven Groove, set for release on July 2. It features 80 new rhythm mini-games and over 30 multiplayer modes. Capcom announced Onimusha: Way of the Sword for Switch 2 on September 25 and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for October 9. Other third-party titles include Stellar Blade later in 2026, Big Walk on August 4, and Lies of P: Complete Edition on August 6. Nintendo revealed Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave for September 17 and a new Xenoblade Chronicles entry called Xenoblade Genesis for 2027. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake was confirmed for later this year with no specific date. A free demo for the Star Fox 64 remake became available immediately, ahead of its June 25 launch. Kingdom Hearts IV was shown with plans for a Switch 2 launch window.
