NordVPN announced Wednesday that it is expanding its VPN app into an all-in-one digital privacy and security service. The update brings antivirus features, scam protection and dark web monitoring into a single interface organized around three areas: Connect, Protect and Monitor.
Product director Domininkas Virbickas said the changes address evolving online threats that now center on phishing, scams and account takeovers rather than traditional malware alone. The company reported blocking 4.8 million threat events in April using real-time URL checks and machine-learning file scans that aim to stop harm before users act on deceptive links or downloads.
