OnePlus has confirmed it will stop releasing new phones in North America and Europe. The decision follows months of speculation and comes amid rising component costs tied to AI demand.
OnePlus announced the move as part of a proactive global strategy adjustment. The company said it has decided to conclude new product rollouts in Europe and North America.
The OnePlus 15, which went on sale in late 2025, will be the last new device available in those regions. Existing phones will continue to receive software support, though future updates will switch from OxygenOS to ColorOS with the Android 17 release.
New devices will now be limited to India and China. The company cited component shortages driven by AI projects, which have increased the cost of RAM and other parts.
The change further reduces options for US buyers, where Samsung and Apple already dominate the market. Oppo, OnePlus's parent company, will continue sales in Europe but does not operate in the United States.
