Oromia president to focus on reviewing results and fixing gaps

Oromia Regional President Ato Shumelis Abdissa said the administration will focus on reviewing achieved results and addressing gaps across various sectors. This comes after the third quarter performance evaluation of government and party activities for 2018 Ethiopian calendar year.

Addis Ababa, Miyazya 9, 2018 (Fana) – Oromia Regional President Ato Shumelis Abdissa stated in a social media post that noticeable results have been achieved across all sectors in recent weeks.

The regional administration has agreed to prioritize reviewing these successes and remedying identified shortcomings, he said.

In the coming weeks, efforts will focus on successfully preparing for the 7th general election, according to Shumelis.

Additionally, planning for the 2019 budget year will account for the prevailing national situation, he added.
