Orebro SK defeated IFK Varnamo 1-0 away in superettan thanks to a late winner from John Stenberg.
John Stenberg headed the decisive goal following a free kick won by Ahmed Yasin. Yasin had started on the bench but was introduced during the match.
Coach Rikard Norling said he left Yasin out because the player was not at his best energy-wise. Orebro SK had suffered a heavy loss to Brage four days earlier yet responded with the away win.
After the goal the referee approached Stenberg to ask if he was pleased with the free kick. Stenberg replied that he had to thank and apologise.
