The former Brazil national team coach remains in the ICU at Hospital Samaritano Barra in Rio de Janeiro since June 16 due to pulmonary inflammation. He successfully underwent nasal bleeding cauterization on Saturday, June 28, according to the medical bulletin.
The patient continues sedated and breathes with apparatus support, requiring intensive care. Parreira has battled Hodgkin lymphoma since 2023 and received chemotherapy in 2024.
