Persib coach Bojan Hodak acknowledged Arema's solid defensive strategy. "Every match we try to win. But we know Arema played defensively and really followed their coach's instructions well," Hodak said.
He also praised Arema goalkeeper Lucas Frigeri as the match's best player. "We had chances to score. And the best player [in this match] was their goalkeeper," he added. Frigeri made a series of crucial saves.
