Pure Padel, one of the UK's fastest-growing padel operators, has announced plans for its first club in Liverpool. The proposed facility at Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane will feature six covered courts and a clubhouse. No opening date has been confirmed yet.
On January 20, 2026, Pure Padel shared details of its expansion into Liverpool, marking the company's first site in the region. The development at Liverpool Innovation Park on Edge Lane aims to create a premium padel destination with six covered courts protected by a 9.5-meter canopy, allowing play in all weather conditions. Accompanying the courts will be a clubhouse offering a food and beverage café, pro shop, and social spaces, designed to serve as both a sports venue and a community hub.
The club will operate on a pay-to-play model, with courts bookable through the Playtomic app and no membership fees required. Highly qualified LTA coaches will provide sessions for beginners to advanced players. Sammy Arora, founder and managing director of Pure Padel, expressed enthusiasm for the project: "We’re really excited to be bringing Pure Padel to Liverpool Innovation Park. This will be our first club in the Liverpool region, and with a Wirral site to follow shortly, it represents a really important step in strengthening our North West presence."
Arora highlighted the location's advantages: "Edge Lane is a perfect location for us – close to the city centre, highly accessible from the M62, and right at the heart of a business park that has seen major recent investment." He added that the Manchester clubs demonstrate the potential of combining padel with business communities, aiming to replicate this in Liverpool.
Pure Padel opened its inaugural club in Alderley Park in October 2023 and now operates sites in Manchester city centre, Darlington, Stockport, North Leeds, and Nottingham. Construction is underway at additional locations including Lightwater, Solihull, Glasgow, and Coulsdon.
