Purwakarta Regent removes song Lalaki Langit Lalanang Bejat after criticism

Purwakarta Regent Saepul Bahri Binzein has removed his song titled Lalaki Langit Lalanang Bejat from social media following criticism and a legal notice.

Saepul Bahri Binzein, known as Om Zein, announced the removal of the song's video clip on Friday July 3 2026. The Sundanese-language song was created by him in 2020 and he said it tells the story of his own life journey.

The day before he stated he would consult his legal counsel regarding the legal notice from Lembaga Jabar Bantuan Hukum dated July 1 2026. The notice deemed the lyrics misogynistic and requested an end to distribution plus a public apology within three days.

In his statement Binzein apologized if anyone felt offended. He stressed he had no intention of demeaning anyone and viewed the criticism as a form of public attention.
