Rep. French Hill says tokenization next focus for house committee

Rep. French Hill, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said tokenization is the panel's next major priority after stablecoins and market structure legislation.

In an interview with CoinDesk last month, Hill noted that the committee held a hearing on tokenization in late March. He said the panel is examining whether the Securities and Exchange Commission and bank regulators need additional authorities to handle tokenized real-world assets.
