SBS Inkigayo will not air on August 2 and August 9. The music program is set to return on August 16 following the breaks.
SBS made the announcement on July 30 through its official social media account. The statement read, “SBS Inkigayo will not air on August 2 and 9. We kindly ask for your understanding and look forward to seeing you again on August 16!”
A rerun of Lim Young Woong’s variety show High Valley, Top Hero is scheduled to fill the usual 3:20 p.m. KST time slot on August 2. On August 9 the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer will take over the broadcast window instead.
The two-week pause marks a temporary adjustment to the long-running music show’s schedule.
