Special police units arrested a 25-year-old man in Bad Wörishofen today after a reported threat. The man was taken into custody without resistance. Authorities stated there was never any danger to the public.
Police in Kempten said a specific threat against a person was reported at midday. The special forces operation took place in front of the Free Evangelical Community building.
After the police measures concluded, the 25-year-old was taken to a specialist clinic for medical treatment. The Augsburger Allgemeine had reported on the SEK deployment.
Authorities stressed that no further details about the threat were released. The man was placed in preliminary custody.
