Tesla has introduced a long-wheelbase version of its Model Y electric SUV to the US market. The new Model Y L offers a usable third row of seats and went on sale last week.
The vehicle measures 195.9 inches long and 65.7 inches tall, with a wheelbase extended by 5.8 inches. It weighs about 4,600 pounds and provides 89 cubic feet of cargo space.
The Model Y L uses a six-seat 2+2+2 layout. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain rated at 514 horsepower and an estimated 325-mile range from its 80-kilowatt-hour battery.
Priced at $61,990 for the Launch Series edition, the model includes vehicle-to-load power, an electronic suspension, and a 12-month Full Self-Driving trial. It first appeared in China in mid-2025.
