The Sims 4 launches Deck the Palms event for free rewards

Electronic Arts has introduced a limited-time Deck the Palms event in The Sims 4, allowing players to earn free content from December 16, 2025, to January 13, 2026. Participants receive gifts by logging in on designated dates, following character Jasmine Holiday's journey. Some rewards require specific expansion packs to use fully.

The Deck the Palms event in The Sims 4 offers players a series of holiday-themed rewards unlocked through daily logins rather than traditional quests. This approach differs from past challenges, where missions were completed sequentially to access items.

Rewards begin on the event's first day with Slightly Fuzzy Earmuffs, Naturescapes Magnet Board, and Playful Dolphin Magnet. Subsequent unlocks include, on December 19, the Happy Home Mailbox and Festive Fronds Palm Tree; on December 24, Slightly Fuzzy Mountain Boots, Slightly Fuzzy Mittens, and Stellar Spaceship Magnet; and on December 25, the Littlest Neighborhood Library and Frosty Snowman Magnet.

Further items arrive on December 26 with the Krabby Patty Secret Recipe and Serious Business Ticket Machine, which ties to the Business & Leisure Pack. December 27 brings the Bikini Bottom Hoodie and Creature Comforts Pet Hoodie from the Dogs and Cats Pack. On December 28, players get the Holiday in Sulani Button Up and Chilly Days Magnet, followed by December 30's Cutest Kiwi Magnet, My Little Voidcritter Toddler Slide, and My Big Voidcritter Child Slide from the Adventure Pack. The event concludes unlocks on January 2 with the Undersea Phone and Pointiest Dino Magnet.

All players can claim these items, but those without the relevant expansion packs—such as Dogs and Cats, Adventure, or Business & Leisure—will see them in their inventory until purchasing the DLC. The event coincides with two mini-kits developed in partnership with the SpongeBob SquarePants license, adding themed elements like Bikini Bottom references. This free initiative encourages Sims to explore vacation spots during the holiday period.
