tvN has confirmed that The Village Barber will return for season 2 with a November premiere. Filming is set to begin at the end of August. The new cast includes Park Bo Gum, Lee Sang Yi, and Ko Kyung Pyo.
tvN confirmed on July 13 that The Village Barber 2 will premiere in November. The announcement follows an earlier July 10 report from MyDaily outlining production plans.
The first season concluded on April 3 after Park Bo Gum operated a barbershop in a rural village alongside Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon. Kwak Dong Yeon will not return, but Ko Kyung Pyo joins the lineup.
Park Bo Gum and Ko Kyung Pyo previously worked together on Naeil’s Cantabile and Reply 1988, maintaining a friendship that has lasted more than 10 years.
