TikTok removed 884,591 videos and 48,739 accounts of users under age 13 in Kenya during the first quarter of 2026, according to the company's latest enforcement report.
The actions form part of TikTok's efforts to enforce its Community Guidelines and keep the platform free from harmful content.
The company stated that AI now handles more than 96 per cent of content removals worldwide. This allows violations to be detected and addressed more quickly than before.
TikTok also reported stronger enforcement on its LIVE feature, including more demonetisations and warnings for creators. The firm is investing in tools to help users identify AI-generated material.
"Thousands of trust and safety professionals work alongside innovative technology to maintain and enforce our robust Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Advertising Policies, which apply to all content on our platform," the company said.
