Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe will launch on Android devices globally on February 18, coinciding with the Shadowgrapher update. The release includes cross-play and cross-save features, along with exclusive rewards for early adopters. A soft launch in Canada begins on February 11.
During a recent Devstream, Digital Extremes revealed details about Warframe's expansion to mobile platforms. The free-to-play action game will arrive on Android on February 18, allowing players to explore the Origin System with cross-play and cross-save functionality across platforms. Canadian users can access a soft launch starting February 11, providing an early preview of the port's performance on compatible devices. To qualify for exclusive rewards, players must download and log in by March 4, earning the Cumulus Collection, which features special weapon and armor cosmetics plus resource boosters. The Android version requires devices with 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 12.0 or higher, and at least 4GB of RAM, ensuring smooth gameplay on mid-range hardware onward. Launching alongside the Android release is The Shadowgrapher update, which introduces Follie as the 64th Warframe, an inkblot-inspired frame emphasizing artistic combat. Players will return to the ruins of the Vesper Relay to uncover a story of a lost Archimedean, venturing into a new mysterious game mode hidden within a haunted, abandoned painting and a sinister mission environment. Graphical enhancements include more distinct face customization options for the Operator and Drifter, plus the ability to replay The Old Peace Quest. Further details on The Shadowgrapher will be shared in the February Devstream. Looking ahead, Warframe is slated for Nintendo Switch 2 in Q1 2026, optimized for 60FPS and 1080p resolution in both handheld and docked modes, with improved load times, textures, and shader quality. It will support Mouse Mode using the right Joy-Con for precise aiming and menu navigation. This month also brings new cosmetics, such as the Vauban Heirloom skin starting February 11, accompanied by a light retouch to his abilities; deluxe skins for Gauss and Grendel with The Shadowgrapher; a Lunar New Year skin for Dagath on February 11; the 2025 Warframe Year in Review available now for personal stats recaps; and the Star Days Valentine's event from February 4 to March 2, offering weapon skins, ship decorations, and profile cosmetics.
