Gaming Copilot Debuts on Mobile
The Gaming Copilot beta feature arrives in the Xbox mobile app, offering players a personal AI sidekick. Users can access it via a dedicated tab, using voice or text to ask for gameplay tips, achievement details, or other in-game queries. It responds in real-time based on current game activity, enhancing support directly from smartphones.
Full Screen Experience Widens Reach
Full screen experience, designed for controller-based navigation, now supports additional Windows 11 handhelds beyond the ROG Xbox Ally. Windows Insiders can test it on broader PC form factors like desktops, laptops, and tablets, providing a streamlined, distraction-free interface for gaming.
Cloud Gaming Enhancements
Xbox Cloud Gaming introduces user-selected streaming resolutions for select titles, reaching up to 1440p for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. This addresses player requests for customizable quality. The service launches in India as the 29th market, allowing streaming on consoles, PCs, mobiles, and TVs. In Brazil and Argentina, it extends to LG TVs and Amazon Fire TV devices, with the Xbox app soon arriving on models like the Fire TV Stick 4K (2025), Fire TV Stick 4K Plus, and others.
Additional Updates
Xbox Design Lab offers free engraving on custom controllers from November 28 to December 12. New accessories include the Backbone Pro – Xbox Edition for versatile play across screens and limited-edition SpongeBob controllers tied to the upcoming movie. Game Pass sees expansions in Play Anywhere titles, streamable owned games (over 1,000), Retro Classics with Blizzard additions like Blackthorne, and new mouse/keyboard or touch control support for titles such as Dead Space and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
