Yamaha opens Tenere Trek rally to all adventure bikes

Yamaha has expanded its new Tenere Trek event to include all adventure motorcycles 250cc and larger. The rally is set for August 6-9 at Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, Idaho.

Originally announced exclusively for Tenere 700 (T7) owners, the event is now open to all Yamaha adventure motorcycles 250cc and larger. Organizers recommend models with at least 120 miles of fuel range along with GPS navigation, full riding gear and a satellite emergency beacon.

Trails range from easy gravel roads to cliff-side overlooks and are open to novice and advanced riders. Entry costs $250 and covers GPS files, three dinners, a swag bag and an event photography package.

Participants may stay at the resort, a local campground or dispersed sites in the National Forest. Yamaha will display the new T7-derived World Raid model on site.
