Yaya Bey has shared a new song, 'Egyptian Musk,' from her forthcoming album Fidelity. The track features Queens-based reggae artist NESTA and comes with a video directed by Michael Grant. It marks their first collaboration.
Yaya Bey previewed her upcoming album Fidelity with the romantic track 'Egyptian Musk,' a collaboration with reggae artist NESTA from Queens. The song arrived alongside a video shot by Michael Grant, showing Bey with an apparent partner wearing a bucket hat. The pair recorded the dreamy reggae song after a chance encounter. Bey described it in press materials: “We had this really dreamy reggae track that sounds like something old with a fresh spin.” This is their first song together. Fidelity is set for release on April 17 via Drink Sum Watr label. Last month, Bey released the lead single 'Blue.' The album addresses her grief following the death of her father, Juicy Crew member Grand Daddy I.U., as well as the gentrification affecting Black communities in New York. Her previous album, Do It Afraid, was released in 2025.
