Truck Union

In Punjab's Sangrur district, two factions of the Aam Aadmi Party clashed over the Bhawanigarh Truck Union presidency. One group declared Malvinder Singh Mala president unanimously, while supporters of MLA Narendra Kaur Bharaj deemed the process undemocratic and protested. Protesters blocked the Bathinda-Chandigarh highway and pelted stones at police.
