TMT Group donates Rp2.5B to aid Aceh disaster recovery amid ongoing basic needs crisis

As recovery from the late November 2025 Aceh floods and landslides continues—with over 21,000 homes damaged and thousands still displaced—PT Tiara Marga Trakindo (TMT) donated Rp2.5 billion to support residents in Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Utara facing shortages of food, water, and sanitation.

Following the devastating late November 2025 flash floods, river overflows, and landslides that killed over 1,000 across Sumatra and prompted President Prabowo Subianto's pledge to rebuild homes in areas like Desa Kota Lintang Bawah, communities in Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Utara continue to grapple with damaged homes, infrastructure, and sanitation.

Thousands rely on aid for essentials like food, clean water, bedding, and hygiene items, with environmental cleanup ongoing. In a new development, PT Tiara Marga Trakindo (TMT) handed over Rp2.5 billion to the Aceh Regional Government via the “TMT Group Donation Handover for Disaster Victims in Aceh” event. The package includes food, shelter supplies, cooking utensils, underwear, mattresses, blankets, water, and cleanup tools.

TMT President Director Muki Hamami said, “This disaster has had a very wide impact. We hope to alleviate burdens and support recovery for a decent life.” Corporate Communication head Rani Hartanti highlighted health and sanitation priorities to speed normalcy.
