Adidas has released the Handball Spezial Loafer, a new hybrid footwear design that blends sneaker and loafer elements. The shoe draws from the brand's handball sneaker line while adopting a corporate aesthetic.
The Handball Spezial Loafer features brown and cream leather construction. It includes a penny loafer-style Trefoil pendant on the side and a slightly raised leather detail in place of the traditional Three Stripes.
The rubber Spezial outsole and tongue logo remain as the main sneaker components. This design allows the shoe to transition between formal settings and casual activities.
The product was presented as suitable for both stakeholder presentations and sports events on the same day. It continues Adidas' line of hybrid shoes that combine elements from different footwear categories.
