Ana Paula Renault's legal team issued a press note stating they presented documents to the court on April 1 against comedian Evandro Santo over his viral podcast comments. In the podcast, Santo defended prior statements from a feud, saying: “Todo mundo sabe que, em uma briga que eu tive com ela, eu afirmei que ela não passava de uma pessoa sustentada pelo pai, um velho político. [...] O fato de ela ser mal-comida está na cara. [...] Ela é completamente fria”.
Santo accused Ana Paula of exploiting her father's health to stir public sympathy. The legal actions target the offensive remarks that spread widely online.
Evandro Santo has not responded to reporters' inquiries. The pair were rivals on A Fazenda 10.
Ana Paula remains a contestant on BBB 26, where she answered the Big Fone on March 16.
