Referee Franco Jiménez reported irregularities in the jornada 12 match between Cobresal and Universidad de Chile, which ended in a 1-0 home win.
In jornada 12 of the Liga de Primera, Cobresal defeated Universidad de Chile 1-0 at Estadio El Cobre in El Salvador. Steffan Pino scored the only goal with a powerful free kick.
Referee Franco Jiménez’s report, released on Monday, noted that Cobresal players entered the field with children in an activation not authorized by Ligas Profesionales. A minute of silence was also held.
For Universidad de Chile, midfielder Javier Altamirano wore white socks under the blue ones required by the first kit, violating article 32 of the tournament rules.
The result gives Cobresal 13 points and distance from the relegation zone, while the visitors remain on 17 points in eighth place, ten behind leaders Colo Colo.
