Ubisoft released the final content update for Assassin's Creed Shadows on June 16. Update 1.1.11, titled Black Tides, adds an epilogue questline and connects the game to the upcoming Black Flag Resynced.
The update concludes the main narrative for protagonists Naoe and Yasuke. It introduces two new Templar characters from the Black Cross and includes connections to Assassin's Creed Odyssey along with Isu artifacts.
Players must complete the full campaign plus prior quests to access the new story mission. The update also adds Domains, five Animus-generated simulations with ten challenge levels each that emphasize RPG builds and skill.
Additional features include crossover projects with Animus anomalies that reward outfits and weapons. Nintendo Switch 2 users received GPU performance improvements in handheld mode instead.
The update links directly to Black Flag Resynced, scheduled for July, through a new Modern Day Rift. Ubisoft confirmed this is the last major update for the game.
