beIN Media Group has secured broadcasting rights to the Generali Hexagon Cup, a new team-based padel tournament, across 27 territories including the Middle East, North Africa, Türkiye, and North America. The event, marking the first FIP-governed team circuit, runs from January 28 to February 1 in Madrid and features eight franchise teams owned by sports stars like Rafael Nadal and Robert Lewandowski. Live coverage will be available on beIN Sports and the TOD platform.

The Generali Hexagon Cup launches as a revolutionary addition to professional padel, organized under the governance of the International Padel Federation (FIP) and fully integrated into its official calendar. Following a strategic alliance in December 2025 with global sports agency 54 and FIP, the tournament evolves into the Hexagon World Series, the premier team padel competition.

Scheduled from Wednesday, January 28, to Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Madrid, the event features eight franchise teams, each comprising three pairs: men's, women's, and under-22. The competing squads include Rafa Nadal Academy, RL9 Padel Team, AD/vantage Padel Team, Eleven Eleven, Team Bella Puerto Rico, Team Hexagon Cup, Krü Padel by Taktika, and 10 Padel Team. Several teams are owned by prominent athletes, such as Rafael Nadal (Rafa Nadal Academy), Robert Lewandowski (RL9 Padel Team), Andy Murray (AD/vantage Padel Team), and Kun Agüero (Eleven Eleven).

The format begins with round-robin group play, with top teams advancing to semi-finals and finals, culminating in a prize pool of approximately one million euros. Day 1 action starts at 8:00 a.m. ET on January 28.

beIN Media Group's acquisition ensures comprehensive coverage, with every match, including semi-finals and finals, broadcast live, alongside daily highlights. Richard Verow, beIN's Chief Sports Officer, stated: “Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and beIN is proud to strengthen its commitment to the professional sport by bringing the Hexagon Cup to fans across our territories.”

Astrid Thams, Commercial Managing Director of Hexagon Cup, added: “The addition of beIN Sports to our network of broadcasters... reflects our vision of making the Hexagon Cup a truly global tournament.” Tim Godfrey, Strategic Advisor for Broadcast and Media, emphasized expanding the international footprint to key markets like MENA, Türkiye, the United States, and Canada.

The 27 territories covered are: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen, Türkiye, United States of America, and Canada.
