Bournemouth Airport announces new Jet2 route to Reus

Jet2.com has launched a new route from Bournemouth Airport to Reus in Spain for summer 2027. The flights will operate weekly on Sundays from May 2 to October 31. This addition expands options for holidaymakers seeking sunshine destinations.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced exclusive flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport to Reus, Spain, starting in summer 2027. The service marks the ninth Spanish destination from the airport and brings the total number of routes to 18.

Flights to Reus will depart once a week on Sundays, running from May 2 to October 31, 2027. The announcement comes shortly after Jet2 celebrated its first anniversary of operations at Bournemouth Airport.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, stated: "There are many holidaymakers wanting to get that sunshine locked into their diaries for Summer 2027, with our flights and holidays from Bournemouth Airport proving very popular. Reus is a magical destination, and we know its appeal, coupled with our award-winning customer experience, will make it much sought-after from Bournemouth Airport. In response to demand from those customers wanting to book early, who know that the best rooms in the best hotels in the best resorts get booked up, we are delighted to be putting a new destination on sale from the airport."

Reus Airport serves the Costa Dorada region, which features classic beach resorts, Catalan culture, and 50 miles of coastline. Nearby attractions include the PortAventura World theme park, while the cities of Tarragona and Reus offer cultural exploration.

Steve Gill, managing director of Bournemouth Airport, commented: "The launch of Reus for Summer 2027 is excellent news for our passengers and a great addition to our growing route network with Jet2. The Costa Dorada is a very popular destination, and we’re delighted to see even more choice being made available from Bournemouth."

Jet2 flights include 10kg of hand luggage and are ATOL-protected. The company has been a recommended provider for 10 consecutive years. Bookings are available on the Jet2 website.
