Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins out for Week 11 with foot injury

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins will miss Sunday's divisional matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a significant foot injury suffered in Week 10. The injury could sideline him for the foreseeable future, with a possible placement on injured reserve. Rookie RJ Harvey is expected to take on a larger role in his absence.

The Denver Broncos will face the Kansas City Chiefs without their leading rusher, J.K. Dobbins, in Week 11. Dobbins sustained the foot injury during the Broncos' win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10. According to reports from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Dobbins is believed to be out for the foreseeable future and is exploring options, including a stint on injured reserve.

If placed on IR before the game, Dobbins would miss at least four contests, including matchups against the Chiefs, Washington Commanders, Las Vegas Raiders, and Green Bay Packers. This season, the former second-round pick has appeared in 10 games, accumulating 772 rushing yards—fifth in the NFL—and four touchdowns. Injuries have been a persistent issue in Dobbins' career; he missed 43 games over four years with the Baltimore Ravens and four games with the Los Angeles Chargers last season. This would mark the fifth straight year he has missed multiple games if the absence extends beyond one contest.

With Dobbins sidelined, rookie RJ Harvey, a 2025 second-round pick out of UCF, is poised for an expanded workload. Harvey has recorded 214 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 50 carries this season, along with 175 receiving yards and four receiving scores. The Broncos' running back depth also includes Tyler Badie and Jaleel McLaughlin.

The 8-2 Broncos host the 5-4 Chiefs at Mile High Stadium on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET, with the Chiefs favored by 3.5 points per DraftKings.
