BTS to release world tour schedule on January 14 with new 14-track album

K-pop group BTS will unveil the schedule for its upcoming world tour on January 14, alongside details for a new album featuring 14 tracks. The announcement comes from the band's agency, BigHit Music, marking the group's first full-length album in over six years. All members have completed their mandatory military service, paving the way for this comeback.

BTS's agency, BigHit Music, revealed on New Year's Day that the septet is preparing its fifth full-length album, the first since "Map of the Soul: 7" in 2020, and the first new release in three years and nine months following "Proof" in 2022. The album includes 14 songs designed to reflect "BTS at this moment," with the members collaborating to incorporate their thoughts and ideas into the music.

BigHit Music stated in a press release that the tracks express the members' gratitude to ARMY, the name of BTS's fan club, for their patience during the hiatus. "The story behind all songs is based on BTS's message to fans who have stuck by the band through all the long years," the agency added.

In addition to the album, BTS will disclose details of its new world tour on January 14. This marks the group's first tour in four years since "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage." Information will be available on a dedicated website for the album and tour.

The band paused group activities when oldest member Jin began his mandatory military service on December 13, 2022. All seven members have now completed their service as of June 2025, allowing for this return to music and performances.
