Cali Distrito Moda merges with Homens Week for 2026

The Colombian Fashion Chamber announced that Cali Distrito Moda is turning into a franchise and merging with Homens Week, Latin America's only men's fashion week, to create the region's largest event in 2026. The fifth edition will take place in June in Cali under the theme “Reevolución Mundial”, featuring participants from five invited countries. Additionally, Cartagena Distrito Moda will launch in October.

The transformation of Cali Distrito Moda into a franchise marks a milestone in Colombia's fashion system, establishing it as a platform for national and international projection. This evolution involves territorial expansion, with the fifth edition set for June 2026 in Cali and a new edition in Cartagena in October, supported by the local mayor's office and the Tourism Secretariat.

The merger with Homens Week redefines the Latin American fashion scene, integrating women's and men's fashion into one event that will gather emerging designers, established brands, buyers, and specialized press. The theme “Reevolución Mundial” emphasizes a global vision, with confirmed participation from Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, the United States, and Argentina through alliances with platforms like Argentina Fashion Week and MOMAD Madrid.

The official presentation took place on January 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Odiseo Bistró restaurant, attended by the president of the Colombian Fashion Chamber, designer Guio Di Colombia, and executives. The visual campaign highlights regional diversity: Sofía Osío Luna, Miss Colombia 2022 from Barranquilla; Sara Liceth Obregón, National Tourism Queen from Buenaventura; and Cali models Jhon Anderson Díaz and James Quintero.

The call for designers and brands is open from January 15 to February 15, 2026, via expomoda2012@hotmail.com or WhatsApp 316 865 7968. This event positions Cali as a global fashion hub, connecting industries and cultures.
