One man was already captured, accused of aggravated homicide and illegal weapons possession, tied to an incident in Floralia neighborhood in March 2025 and allegedly to microtrafficking network reorganization there. Mayor Alejandro Eder urged residents to report tips, noting homicides connect to illegal economies like narcotrafficking, with fight-related cases declining but sicario attacks rising. General Herbert Benavidez, commander of the Cali Metropolitan Police, stated these targets are linked to at least 41 violent incidents.
