Chile arrests three suspects wanted by FBI for athlete home robberies

Police in Chile arrested three Chilean nationals wanted by the FBI for allegedly robbing the homes of professional athletes in the United States during 2024 and 2025.

The arrests took place over the weekend. Two suspects were detained last week in Argentina after breaking into the home of former tennis player Juan Martin del Potro. Their capture led to the Saturday arrest of a third gang member in Chile, according to Commissioner Enrique Gutierrez of Chilean Interpol.
