A private funeral for music executive Clive Davis is set for June 29 in New York City. The service will feature performances and tributes from several prominent artists one week after his death at age 94.
Davis died on June 22 from age-related illness. The funeral will take place at an undisclosed location in New York City.
Kenny G, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Barry Manilow, Bruce Springsteen and Dionne Warwick are scheduled to participate. Additional performers are expected to join the ceremony.
The Davis family issued a statement describing him as an iconic music legend who discovered and mentored artists while serving as a steady family presence. Davis held leadership roles at Columbia Records, Arista and J Records and helped more than 60 songs reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
