The Conglomeration retains AEW Trios Title against Lethal Twist

The Conglomeration successfully defended the AEW World Trios Championship against The Lethal Twist during the AEW Redemption Buy-In on July 26.

The Conglomeration, consisting of Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly, retained the titles in a match against Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. Strong started against Lethal before the teams traded moves, including dives to the outside and submissions.

Cassidy hit a diving elbow and later a Stundog Millionaire. Strong broke up a pin after Lethal's Lethal Injection. The finish came when Strong delivered End of Heartache to Lethal and tossed Cassidy onto him for the pinfall.

This marked the sixth successful defense for the champions. The Demand watched from commentary while scouting potential allies.
