Cyndi Lauper received her first WWE action figure this week as part of a new Mattel set. The singer expressed excitement over the collectible featuring her alongside Captain Lou Albano and Roddy Piper.
Lauper took to social media on Wednesday to share her reaction to the figure, which is set to debut at San Diego Comic-Con. She removed the toys from their packaging and interacted with them during the video.
"I wanted it to be made because I received such an incredible experience with the wrestlers," Lauper said. She also noted that the figure reminded her of Albano and Piper.
"It just reminds me of Captain Lou and Roddy," she added. "And I'm glad that this moment was captured, because this was a classic."
Lauper has not appeared with WWE since 2012. The Mattel set highlights her role in the promotion during the 1980s wrestling boom.
