DJI Mini 3 drone hits record low prices on Amazon

The DJI Mini 3 drone, capable of capturing stabilized 4K footage, is now available at its lowest prices ever on Amazon. The standard package drops from $419 to $335, while the Fly More Combo falls from $719 to $575. These deals ensure delivery before Christmas for orders placed today.

Drones have become more accessible in recent years, with DJI's Mini 5 Pro priced over $700 before accessories. In contrast, the Mini 3 offers essential features at about half the cost, making it suitable for aerial videography.

The current Amazon promotions highlight the drone's value. The standard Mini 3 package, now $335, includes the basics for getting started. For extended use, the Fly More Combo at $575 provides three batteries for up to 114 minutes of flight time and the DJI RC controller with a built-in 5.5-inch screen, which avoids draining a phone's battery and offers better visibility in sunlight.

Performance-wise, the Mini 3 flies for 38 minutes per battery, allowing time to set up shots without frequent landings. Its video transmission reaches up to 32,800 feet, maintaining a 1080p feed beyond line of sight. GPS auto-return ensures safe recovery if the battery is low or signal is lost, adjusting altitude to avoid obstacles.

The 4K camera, equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, records at 30 frames per second and handles dynamic range well, preserving details in high-contrast scenes like sunrises. A vertical shooting mode rotates the camera 90 degrees for direct compatibility with social media formats such as Instagram Stories or TikTok.

Weighing under 249 grams, the drone avoids FAA registration requirements in the US and similar regulations elsewhere. Its three-axis mechanical gimbal provides stable footage even in moderate winds. Smart features include ActiveTrack for following subjects and QuickShots for automated cinematic maneuvers like orbits or boomerangs.

Extra batteries cost about $60 each, but the Fly More Combo offers strong value, as the RC controller alone retails for around $200. These prices undercut no-name alternatives and reflect capabilities that were twice as expensive two years ago.
