Ethio Telecom closed the first year of its Next Horizon roadmap with solid revenue and subscriber growth, but delayed infrastructure.

Revenue grew by 33.2 percent to 215.82 billion birr, meeting 99.7 percent of the revised target. Subscribers reached 90.12 million, beating the plan by 1.7 percent.

Data and internet overtook mobile voice as the largest revenue source for the first time, accounting for 31.1 percent of revenue.
