Euphoria cast gathers for season 3 premiere in Hollywood

The cast of HBO's Euphoria reunited at the TCL Chinese Theatre for the world premiere of its third season on Tuesday night, marking the end of a four-year hiatus. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and others walked a Wild West-themed red carpet ahead of the show's April 12 streaming debut on HBO Max. Creator Sam Levinson dedicated the evening to late cast and crew members.

Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre hosted the Euphoria season 3 premiere, transformed with pampas grass, tumbleweed and lava rocks to evoke a Wild West theme reflecting the season's exploration of adulthood. Jacob Elordi arrived in Bottega Veneta, Maude Apatow in Celine, Hunter Schafer in Roberto Cavalli, Alexa Demie in vintage Bob Mackie, Sydney Sweeney in vintage Pierre Cardin and Zendaya in an Ashi Studio halter gown. “I can’t stop smiling. It’s so surreal to be here at the premiere. We’ve been waiting to come back for so long,” Apatow told Vogue. Demie opted for a fresh-faced look with glowy skin and minimal makeup, a departure from her character's signature gem-heavy style in past seasons. The season features a five-year time jump: Zendaya's Rue works as a drug mule, Schafer's Jules attends art school, Sweeney and Elordi's Cassie and Nate live together, Apatow's Lexi assists a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, and Demie's Maddy manages talent while aiding Cassie with adult content. Levinson highlighted themes of faith and freedom. Levinson dedicated the screening to the late Angus Cloud (Fezco), Eric Dane and Kevin Turen, noting Cloud's 2023 fentanyl overdose death among 73,000 that year in America. “Death is what gives life meaning,” he said. Guests later attended the after-party at Chateau Marmont, enjoying themed cocktails and braised beef in the garden courtyard.
