Euphoria season 3 sets April premiere date

HBO has announced that the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria will premiere in April, more than four years after the season 2 finale. Creator Sam Levinson shared plot teases and cast updates during a presentation in London, confirming key character developments and new additions to the ensemble. The series returns with its core cast, navigating themes of addiction, relationships, and young adulthood.

Release Details

Euphoria season 3 is scheduled to debut on HBO in April, marking a significant wait for fans since the season 2 finale aired in 2022. The delay spans over four years, with Levinson noting that the storyline picks up approximately five years later in the characters' lives, aligning with a post-college timeline for the ensemble.

Plot Teases and Character Updates

During an HBO Max presentation in London, Levinson revealed key plot points. Rue, played by Zendaya, is located south of the border in Mexico, indebted to Laurie (Martha Kelly) and devising ways to settle her debts. Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) resides in the suburbs with Nate (Jacob Elordi), where they are engaged; Levinson confirmed that "Cassie and Nate do in fact get married," promising an "unforgettable night." Cassie grapples with social media addiction and envy toward her former classmates' lives.

Jules (Hunter Schafer) attends art school, anxious about her painting career and avoiding responsibility. Maddy (Alexa Demie) works at a Hollywood talent agency while pursuing side hustles. Lexi (Maude Apatow) serves as an assistant to a showrunner portrayed by Sharon Stone.

Levinson described the season as "our best yet," emphasizing its emotional depth.
